Cześć! My name is Balbina and I am a teacher of Polish as a foreign and second language. I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to meet fantastic people whose cultural diversity never ceases to amaze me.
I have been teaching Polish since 2011 in various schools and companies like: Unilever, Philip Morris International, PwC, Sopra Steria. I was also a teacher at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, where I graduated with a Master’s in Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language. At the time, I drew series of comics for foreigners learning Polish called “kocham polski!“, which appeared in the magazine “Welcome to Cracow & Małopolska”.
For a time I studied at the language research institution INALCO in Paris, so I know what it is like to be a foreigner and struggle with a language barrier. I am happy when I can help others to overcome it.
I have been living in Katowice for a few years, teaching Polish in Silesia region. Here I could make the dream of my own school come true. It was the first private Polish for foreigners language and culture school in Katowice.
From March 2020 my school only offers online courses.
